Born in Rijeka, Croatia, 1971.
Lives and works in Venice, since 1992.
After obtaining her BFA in Painting and Fine Arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti, Venice, Italy (1996), recognized for a non-common originality she was contacted by the Bauhaus Foundation (2000) where, together with urbanists, architects, sociologists and designers applies her luminous photographic experiments on social and urban structure of Frankfurt, in project Art Scapes/Event City. She was involved recently (2003-2006) with her post-graduate theses "The Photographic Image as an Oxymoron" at the IUAV-FDA (University of Architecture – Faculty of Design and Arts), Venice, Italy .
She exhibited in Italy and abroad and currently (2006-2008) she has been engaged with a photographic project Urban Regeneration of Croatia in collaboration with the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Rijeka and the British Council Croatia, as well as in the coordination of the German Pavilion of the Biennale di Venezia 2007. |
